The three future Hall of Famers destroyed each other in the ring for over 30 minutes before the match's climax occurred with Heyman entering the ring.
At first, Heyman handed CM Punk, who he accompanied to the ring, a steel chair, before hitting him with a low blow.
Heyman then handed Reigns the chair and directed to bring the weapon into the back of Rollins, much like 'The Architect' did when he broke up The Shield in 2014.
Then the former ECW promoter turned on the 'Tribal Chief' with the same low blow to the groin, with Rollins turning around and confirming the unlikely union.
Heyman handed Rollins the chair and he smashed it into the back of Reigns, similar to the deja vu from last year's WrestleMania main event, and then pinned his former stablemate after a curb stomp.

Heyman has a long history with both Punk and Reigns before turning on both of them Saturday
As Punk and Reigns laid dejected in the ring after the main event ended, Heyman and Rollins waked through the curtain together as the landscape of WWE changed in one evening.
WWE's Jackie Redmond caught up with Punk moments after the match where he no-commented on Heyman's turn to her.For once, the 'Voice of the Voiceless' actually had nothing to say.
There was a near-Shield reunion at multiple instances of the matchup, with Reigns denying Rollins twice.
The second occasion came as Rollins called for the signature Shield powerbomb, hoping to put Punk through the announcers' table.
Instead, Reigns putting Rollins and Punk through the pair of tables himself. Nearly mentioned on commentary was the former Dean Ambrose, who completed the trio. He's now known as Jon Moxley and is rival All Elite Wrestling's world champion.
This was the first WrestleMania main event for Punk, 19 years after debuting with the company. Reigns increased his WrestleMania main-event all-time record to 10 headlining matches.
Rollins participated in his third WrestleMania main event, with none of them oddly being one-on-one matches.
This was the first triple threat match to end a WrestleMania since the second night in 2021, when Reigns defeated Edge and Daniel Bryan.
Heyman is aligned with Rollins with him owing 'The Architect' a favor coming into the match
Heyman and Rollins have never been aligned before in WWE and at constant odds
Now, Reigns and Punk will have to regroup, knowing Heyman and Rollins stand together
Focus now shifts to the second night of WrestleMania, with the main event being Cody Rhodes against John Cena for the WWE Championship.
It was last year's closing moment of WrestleMania where Rhodes beat Reigns to end his near-four-year grasp on the title.
Now Reigns has been pinned in back-to-back WrestleMania main events, an unthinkable thought for WWE fans a year ago.
Reigns was not seen on the WWE post shot, unlike Punk.
